Voyage Phoenix met with our CEO Blerim Zeqiri in Scottsdale to discuss BI:Radix and how their innovations will contribute to the multifamily industry.

Here are some of the question he answered in the interview:

  • So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
  • Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
  • Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about BI:Radix – what should we know?
  • Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?

I reached out to two good friends of mine – Eugene and Alex, who are both software engineers and asked if they were up for building a business intelligence company that would serve the multifamily industry. They were both up for the challenge and we set to build BI:Radix into a full-fledged business intelligence platform. The BI in the name stands for business intelligence and radix in Latin means the source or origin.”

What sets us apart is that BI:Radix is the first fully web-based business intelligence tool that provides actionable insights on the competitive environment for the multifamily industry. We provide data at its most micro level which in return creates a more accurate picture of the macro environment for our clients.”

Rent and Operating Trends – Week of November 26th 2023

It was a fairly quiet week in the U.S. economy as the Thanksgiving holiday limited data releases last week. Existing trends continued from the prior week as the 10-year treasury continued to drift lower. The yield on the 10-year is now 4.42%, nearly 60 basis points below its recent peak in mid-October.

Chart of The Week – November 27th 2023

This week we examine the top and bottom performing markets on a net effective rent basis. We have talked a lot about the markets that are both outperforming and underperforming in the previous charts of the week and rent and operating trends report, yet a key distinction that continues to hold true is the severity of the declines in the worst performing markets compared to the modest gains in the best performing markets.
